- Colors & Lighting: Photos are a representation. Colors can appear lighter, darker, or shifted in tone depending on screen settings and time of day or lighting when you view the yarn both in-person and online.
- Base Variations: Different yarn bases absorb dye uniquely. Because Sugarplum Circus yarns are hand-dyed in small batches, expect slight nuances in depth and tone between different fiber and weight bases.
- Project Planning: We strongly recommend purchasing enough yarn for your project all at once, as hand-dyed batches vary. For large projects, please alternate skeins every few rows to help prevent pooling.
CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- Our Process: All Sugarplum Circus yarns are thoroughly rinsed and washed with Eucalan, a gentle, conditioning wool wash.
- Color Runoff: Highly saturated or bright colors may still experience minor color runoff during the first few washes. We highly recommend making and washing a swatch for multi-color and/or high-contrast projects.
- Washing: For best results and to prolong the life of your hand-mades, always handwash in COLD water with a gentle wool wash and lay flat to dry.
