My name is Jensen, and I am the owner/dyer/knitter behind Sugarplum Circus.

I have been an avid knitter ever since I first received some hand-me-down yarn and knitting needles back in 2013.

At the time, I was a haircolor specialist, and always loved having a wide color palette to work from. Having been raised in an artistic household, I’ve been fascinated by color for as long as I can remember.

So of course when I first started knitting, I was instantly captivated by the array of colors in hand-dyed yarns. 

I also have a background in baking, so between that and my color knowledge- when I first tried my hand at putting color on yarns, it all seemed so natural.

I am so passionate about color, and I also work very hard at what I do. I put so much of myself into each and every colorway I develop, and so much care and consideration into each and every skein of yarn.
